Mental health first aid training

Mental health issues cost British businesses and average of £1000 per year for every employee. In 2016, 76% of line managers reported that they are responsible for employee wellbeing, but only 22% have received training.

We can provide you and your employees with a nationally recognised qualification in Mental Health First Aid, accredited by Mental Health First Aid England and the Royal Society for Public Health (ROSPA).

The course is a high quality, intensive, practical course. On completion, participants will be able to identify signs and symptoms of mental ill-health in themselves and others and proactively support clients, colleagues, friends and family to access appropriate help. Each participant will also take away an excellent manual of practical advice and contacts to refer to in the future.

Past participants have highlighted the quality of the information and the confidence-raising aspect.

This one course can be of benefit to every member of your organisation, including front line operational staff, administrative staff and senior managers.

We can deliver this course to your staff in your own setting or from one of our well-equipped training centres located around Derbyshire. If you are a smaller organisation, your staff can join with other staff on our regularly scheduled public course delivery dates.

"After 20 years of doing my job I thought I had done every course going. I was wrong and feel so happy that I still can get new info and excited about something that is very important to me."

"I've worked in mental health for 14 years & still learnt more from this course about the different kinds of mental health problems."
