Get into languages

LanguagesThese can help you improve your job prospects, communicate with those around you, or plan a holiday.

And did you know that:

  • 75 per cent of the world population don’t speak English
  • 60 per cent of British trade is with non-English speaking countries
  • 94 per cent of UK language graduates found a job quickly.

It is no wonder that language graduates are in demand!

We offer modern foreign languages at different levels to suit your abilities with the choice to opt for short non-accredited courses for leisure or longer courses leading to qualifications which will enhance your CV and career prospects.

Our short taster courses will give you the basic vocabulary needed to survive on holiday. Longer courses for absolute beginners will help you to explore the language further and gain an insight into the culture of the country.

Courses for improvers and advanced learners will give you further opportunities to expand your knowledge and practise your language skills.

If you wish to study a language towards a qualification to enhance your career prospects we offer courses at entry level, level one and level two.

We can also provide specific tailor-made business language courses to suit your company’s needs.

You can progress from non-accredited leisure learning through to level two qualifications giving you the opportunity to go onto college or university.

Jobs for language graduates include teaching, translating, travel and tourism, marketing, media, finance, government, civil service, armed forces, retail, information scientists, computing… in fact any business which operates internationally.
