RSS stands for ‘Really Simple Syndication’. This allows you to select the content you like from RSS enabled websites and have it sent to you electronically.
How do I get started?
You will need a news reader - a piece of software which checks the feeds you've subscribed to and lets you know if there are any new articles.
There are lots of types of news reader available, some which work in your browser and some which you download but mostly available for free.
You'll need to choose a news reader that suits you and the computer or device you use.
Once you've chosen your news reader decide what information you'd like it to gather. If you're interested the council we have feeds you can subscribe to for our press releases or our latest news updates.
