The Let’s Chat campaign is aimed at starting conversations about mental health, helping people connect and reducing isolation.
It launched earlier this year with Let's Chat bench signs appearing at hundreds of outdoor venues and is now moving indoors for the winter months.
Cabinet Member for Health and Communities, Councillor Carol Hart said:
“Loneliness and isolation can have a big impact on the way we feel, and the winter months can make many of us struggle with our emotional wellbeing.
“Talking about how we’re feeling can go a long way to helping reduce the feelings of isolation.
“We hope our Let’s Chat campaign will offer people a safe space to open up and start conversations.”
More than 100 organisations have already signed up to be part of the Let’s Chat campaign including leisure centres, GPs, businesses and charities.
If you are a Derbyshire based organisation who would like to take part and share mental health and wellbeing messages there’s a variety of resources on offer including posters, window stickers and support materials.
