Key workers asked for their views on bus services during coronavirus outbreak

Published: 16 April 2020

NHS staff and other key workers are being asked how changes to bus services are affecting how they get to work.

We have published a survey on our website which we would like all key workers to complete. We want to find out what effects the changes are having and whether passengers are able to practice social distancing while travelling.

Cabinet Member for Highways, Transport and Infrastructure, Councillor Simon Spencer said:

“I know key workers are very busy. They’re doing a fantastic job under a lot of strain. If we can help with transport issues, we will.

“So I’d like to encourage as many of these workers as possible to complete this short survey so we can get a picture of what the situation is like, identify any areas we can get involved with and ease any problems that there might be.”

If you are a key worker and use the bus to get to work, please complete the survey on revised bus services.
