What this consultation is about
Vision for Derbyshire - working together to achieve good sexual health.
We, as a commissioner, are responsible for the provision of sexual health services across the county.
We are carrying out a review of current sexual health services and want to ask you what you think, to help us plan future services.
Stage 1 of the review of Derbyshire Sexual Health Services consulted stakeholders and service users through:
- Focus groups with actual and potential service users, aimed to reach individuals representative of high risk groups
- A consultation workshop with existing Derbyshire providers (including Glossopdale)
- Online consultation for members of the public, service users and other stakeholders
- Meetings with other commissioners and stakeholders.
The results from Stage 1 are attached to this page.
Stage 2 of the consultation took place from the 11 April 2014 to 9 May 2014.
Stage 2 of the review of Sexual Health Services in Derbyshire aims to gather views to help us develop the Integrated Sexual Health Service Model. Our Cabinet agreed to re-procure an Integrated Sexual Health Service at its meeting on 25 March 2014. The tendering process will commence in April 2015.
