The Avenue health impact assessment consultation

Status: Results available

Opens: 29 February 2016 - Closes: 18 March 2016

What this consultation is about

Derbyshire County Council (DCC) in partnership with North East Derbyshire District Council (NEDDC), Chesterfield Borough Council (CBC) and the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) undertook a Health Impact Assessment (HIA) of the Avenue development.

We wanted to know how you thought the Avenue development could potentially affect health either in a positive or negative way and we consulted on the existing proposals on the Avenue site including: country park, housing, employment, land use, school and education, leisure facility, and connectivity, which included changes to road use, active travel, for example, cycling, walking and transport links.

This consultation is now closed. The report is attached to this page. It is also on the Derbyshire Observatory, where you can find more health information.
