What this consultation is about

This consultation is now closed. A report was presented to Cabinet, 15 July 2014, agenda item 16.

Gather views on changes in assessment and support for children and young people aged 0 to 25 years with special educational needs and disabilities, and their families, that will come into force in September 2014.

Since this consultation was launched, the Government has published a revised Special Educational Needs Code of Practice. The revised code includes some important new information, including information about the content of education, health and care plans.
