What this consultation is about
On 12 July 2016 our cabinet member for highways, traffic and infrastructure approved a report for an initial public consultation on the possible implementation of a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) on Stoney Middleton Byway Open to All Traffic 15 (Jacobs Ladder) to prevent or restrict use by motorised vehicles. The report is attached to this page.
This consultation aims to examine whether sufficient evidence exists to support the making of a TRO.
The results of the consultation will be examined with reference to the provisions of the Road traffic Regulation Act 1984. A report presented to a future meeting of the cabinet member to advise whether or not there is evidence to support the making of an order. That report will be available to the public on our website approximately one week before the meeting.
Location: from Grid Reference SK 2343 7594 to Grid Reference 2323 7555. Approximately 542 metres.
Reference to motorised vehicles in the survey means any self-propelled road vehicle.
