Improvements to Footpath 42 Crich between Main Road (B5035) and Whatstandwell Railway Station

Status: Results available

Opens: 8 August 2016 - Closes: 31 October 2016

What this consultation is about

We propose to lay a tarmac surface and install low intensity point to point lighting on this public footpath between Main Road and the Railway Station.

This scheme will provide a tarmac surface and low intensity point to point lighting, providing guidance along the footpath. The lighting will consist of four low intensity and low wattage LED lighting points at a height of 2.5m to 3m. This point to point guidance lighting will illuminate throughout the hours of darkness. These lights are low intensity to minimise environmental impact within the conservation area. These lights should not be compared to standard higher intensity street lights typically at a height of 5m.

This scheme will include the removal of the existing street lamps, removing future maintenance and health and safety issues.
