Have your say on changing housing-related support services - The Derbyshire Challenge

Status: Results available

Opens: 3 February 2014 - Closes: 21 April 2014

What this consultation is about

We are facing huge budget cuts and must find ways of saving £157m by 2018.

One of the areas where we are proposing to make savings is housing-related support services. We are proposing to make £9m of savings over two years from the housing-related support programme.

A range of measures is being considered to make these savings including: efficiencies, asking services to do things in different ways, reducing some services and over time stopping some services altogether.

We are proposing to make savings in two phases.

Phase one - proposed to make savings £2m  Phase two - proposed in 2015/16 saving just over £7m.

This consultation is closed. A report was presented to Cabinet, 28 July 2015, agenda item five.
