What this consultation is about
The school library service has been providing for schools in Derbyshire and Derby for over 70 years. It supports children's reading and learning by supplying extensive collections of books and artefacts. Project collections are selected by knowledgeable staff and delivered throughout the school year. The service also gives advice to schools on their own library provision.
At present, take-up by schools is not consistent, so we want to improve and redevelop what we offer. Responses to this short questionnaire will help us take important decisions regarding the future direction of the service.
The consultation is now closed. Results of the consultation were used to inform the School Library Service Development Plan.
