Bridleway bridges linking Jacksdale and Codnor Park, Ironville

Status: Closed

Opens: 8 August 2016 - Closes: 6 February 2017

What this consultation is about

In 2012, we received representations from residents of Jacksdale and Codnor Park, Ironville for a bridge link between the two communities. Following on from this a small working group was established of local councils, organisations and residents to progress a bridge design which will accommodate cyclists, walkers, horse riders, mobility scooters and pushchairs.

In order for this project to progress, funding must be secured. A questionnaire was trialled at a consultation event in the two villages last year, which has given evidence of community need for the bridge link. An electronic questionnaire was then launched to capture the views of a wider audience and strengthen future funding applications.

This consultation is now closed.
