What this consultation is about
We want you to have the information you need about our services. We know that having the right information at the right time can help you access care and support more easily.
We have been trying to make sure that information about adult care services is accessible to everyone in Derbyshire. We have tried to ensure our information is available in different formats on request, including easy read, alternate languages and large print, and at a variety of locations such as Derbyshire libraries and some GP surgeries.
We have also tried to provide information about the topics you want to know about, such as accessing care and support, information about support for carers and services such as the Handy Van and our home care service.
What else do you need to know?
The Care Act 2014 introduced a statutory duty for authorities to provide information and advice about care and support. To ensure we are getting this right in Derbyshire we would welcome your help.
We asked you to complete a short online survey to let us know how we’re doing and suggest any improvements.
The results of the adult care information and advice survey will be used to make improvements to how, where and when we deliver our information and advice provision.
A draft report on the results of the survey has been published and is available by email.
