What this consultation is about
We wanted the views of young people aged 15 to 25 on accommodation for young people.
Changes to welfare benefits, and most particularly housing benefit affect young people’s access to safe, secure and affordable housing. Nationally homelessness among young people is rising.
It is increasingly complex for young people to find somewhere to live that is decent, safe and secure.
