Health and Wellbeing Board

The Derbyshire Health and Wellbeing Board leads and advises on work to improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Derbyshire through the development of improved and integrated health and social care services.

It is made up of:

  • leader of Derbyshire County Council
  • cabinet member for young people
  • cabinet member for health and communities (chair)
  • cabinet member for adult care
  • shadow cabinet member for health and communities
  • strategic director of adult care
  • strategic director for young people
  • director of public health
  • two elected representatives of the district councils (supported by one chief executive)
  • one representative from each of the clinical commissioning groups
  • one representative from each NHS provider organisation
  • two representatives from the Peak District National Park Authority
  • one representative from Derbyshire Probation Service
  • one representative of the Healthwatch Derbyshire
  • two representatives from the voluntary sector
  • the police and crime commissioner for Derbyshire
  • one representative from Derbyshire Constabulary
  • chief fire officer
  • one representative from East Midlands Ambulance Service
  • NHS Commissioning Board
  • Public Health England.
