The full council

Find out what our full council does and how often it meets.


Purpose

The full council meets five times a year to deal with major corporate policy issues.

These include:

  • the council plan
  • annual accounts
  • budget monitoring and budget setting
  • inspection and portfolio reports
  • police authority and fire authority business
  • and to receive major petitions

Councillor involvement

The full council is made up of all of the 64 councillors elected to represent Derbyshire on the county council.

Attend a meeting

Our council meetings are open to the public and you are welcome to come along and view the proceedings.
