Chesterfield & North East Derbyshire RamblersA local group of the Ramblers with nearly 500 members, offering around 400 guided walks throughout the year from 3 miles upwards, catering for all tastes. A small number of volunteers assist the County Council in maintaining and keeping public rights of way open. This organisation is looking for volunteers.
DASH - Derby Activity Social & Hiking GroupSunday day walks approximately seven to eight miles. Tuesday evening walks in summer approximately three to four miles. Social evenings at The Brunswick Inn on alternate Tuesdays - for games, quizzes etc. Meals out, 10 pin bowling, pitch and putt golf, cinema trips, Youth Hostel trips and holidays in self catering properties and days out.
