Derbyshire Young Achievers Awards 2008

Nominations are now open for our Young Achiever Awards 2008.

We want to hear about young people who have shown extraordinary:

Bravery, such as fighting an illness
Kindness in helping others
Sporting , musical, artistic or academic success
Commitment to improving their school, community or local environment

If you know a Derbyshire young person who you think fits the bill please let us know.

All youngsters aged three to 18 who attend a Derbyshire County Council infant, primary, secondary or special school are eligible for an award.

To nominate him or her for an award just fill in this form and tell us in not more than 150 words why you think they deserve recognition and a Derbyshire Young Achiever award.

Nominations must be received by no later than Friday 17 October.

A special reception will be hosted by Derbyshire County Council on Friday 12 December where successful youngsters will each receive a certificate and a small gift.
