Redundancy calculators

Under the Local Government Pension Scheme Regulations if you are made redundant aged 55 or over and you are a member of the Local Government Pension Scheme you are entitled to immediate payment of your pension scheme benefits.

The pension benefits are paid unreduced although they are being paid earlier than normal retirement age. However no additional membership, known as augmentation, is usually granted on redundancy grounds.

The online calculators allow you to run your own estimates for the redundancy payment and Local Government Pension Scheme benefits.
