Snow has caused a number of road closures in the north of the county.
Police have advised the closure of:
- Winnats Pass, Castleton
- Rushup Edge, between Castleton and Chapel-en-le-Frith
- A53 Axe Edge
- A628 Woodhead Pass (operated by the Highways Agency)
- A6024 Holme Moss at Crowden
- Torside (Glossop to Woodhead Pass)
- A57 Snake Pass
Our gritting teams are currently out re-treating primary networks on the snow affected high ground. The full primary and secondary networks were treated earlier today.
Our gritter drivers have notified us of the following road closures or roads not gritted on their routes. The location of these are shown on the map as markers.
