Independent MOT vehicle testing of cars, light goods vehicles and diesels is available at a number of centres in the county.

Class IV

This class includes: cars (up to eight passenger seats), motor caravans, duel purpose vehicles, PSVs (up to eight seats), goods vehicles (up to 3,000kg, DGW), ambulances and taxis.

Class IV

Including private passenger vehicles (9-12 passenger seats).

Class IVA

The class IVA includes a seat belt installation check.

Class V

This class includes private passenger (13-16 passenger seats).

Class V

This class includes vehicles and ambulances (more than 16 passenger seats).

Class VA

This class includes seat belt installation check for vehicles with 13-16 passenger seats.

Class VA

This class includes seat belt installation check for vehicles with more than 16 passenger seats.

Class VII

This class is for goods vehicles over 300kg up to 3500 DGW.

A partial re-test fee is half the cost of a full test fee.
