Transport Direct
Transport Direct is a new addition to the range of online journey planners.
The East Midlands Journey Planner is best for planning bus and rail journeys around the region, including Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Rutland and Northamptonshire.
For other parts of the country, Traveline offers regional journey planners for public transport.
For journeys by train only, the National Rail journey planner is recommended.
For journeys by express coach only, the National Express journey planner is useful.
The new national Transport Direct planner also offers information on internal air transport and major road closures, and includes a facility to plan routes for car journeys.
