Transport & roads
The Peak Connections project is working to help you have great days out to the Peak District and Derwent Valley using buses or trains.
A family of user-friendly guides is available with tourism and transport details for leisure days out to visit attractions, and for country walking.
Tourism businesses have been working with Peak Connections to especially welcome visitors arriving by public transport.
With no parking costs or restrictions, it makes good sense to leave the car behind and travel by public transport. Arrive proud of the fact that you are doing your bit for the environment!
A range of leaflets is now in course of preparation for Summer 2007 - watch this page for details.
The 2007 Peak Connections to Chatsworth leaflet is now available - please use the link in the more information section on this page to download or view this leaflet in PDF format.
Why not have a look at the TransPeak (opens in a new window) website - for days out suggestions on the TransPeak bus service (Nottingham - Derby - Belper - Matlock - Bakewell - Buxton - Manchester), with details of times and fares too.
