Clowne and District Community Transport

Clowne and District Community Transport offers Dial-a-Bus, Dial-a-Ride and Community Group Travel services.

The scheme runs six fully-accessible minibuses, and clamping facilities for wheelchairs are available to users who are unable to transfer.

Dial-a-Bus
A door-to-town shopping service for people who have difficulty in using public transport through age or disability.  Passengers may take a friend or relative to escort them if they need assistance or the Scheme will provide a volunteer escort free of charge.  Fares are comparable to concessionary fares and are subsidised by Derbyshire County Council.
 
The areas covered are: 
Area A: Creswell, Hodthorpe and Whitwell. 
Area B: Doe Lea, Glapwell, Langwith, New Houghton, Pleasley and Shirebrook.
Area C: Bolsover, Carr Vale, Hillstown, Palterton and Scarcliffe.
Area D: Killamarsh, Spinkhill, Renishaw and Eckington. 
Area E: Clowne, Barlborough, Shuttlewood and Stanfree.
