eSafety guidance
Derbyshire County Council has implemented an electronic safety and guidance document, for all our carers, adopters and staff members involved in with children in care, to act as a safeguard against possible harm and to raise awareness in what can be a complex issue.
The policy contains information on safe care online, with particularly attention paid to social networking, gaming, mobile telephones and email.
Due to rapid changes in information technology, the policy will be updated annually and training is available upon request from Jon Farmer, email jon.farmer@derbyshire.gov.uk or tel 01629 532011.
