Derbyshire Intergenerational Strategy (DIgS) - Helping all ages age well

Derbyshire Intergenerational Strategy (DIgS) logo

Intergenerational projects bring together different age ranges to share social time, experiences and skills that will mutually benefit those who take part.

It may be young people showing older people how to text or use computers and older people showing the younger ones how to play musical instruments or games of days gone by, or teach them about gardening. This is sometimes achieved through a social or activity club, via 50+ forum groups or by a school group teaming up with a residential home.
