The day services team provides a range of centre and community-based services for people with higher moderate to critical needs living in the Chesterfield area, 5 days a week.
Chesterfield Care Group also uses the centre on Saturdays to provide a day service.
We do take referrals from out of area if it is more beneficial for the person to attend the centre at Hasland, rather than their local day services provider. We do not provide transport in this instance.
A team of community support workers works alongside the centre staff, offering support to people with diagnosed mental health issues, including dementia, in the community.
Hasland has its own vehicle and driver who transports people to and from groups. Transport can be provided if there is an assessed need.
Centre opening times:
Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5pm
Group opening times:
10am to 3pm (variable depending on specific group)
Group Information:
Hasland Resource Centre offers a range of services, these include: groups for people with dementia, a craft group and a bathing group.
The bathing facilities at the centre can be booked out to people who are unable to access their bath at home, and have a relative or carer who can assist them.
