Nature lovers get the chance to take part in plenty of environmentally friendly fun when the country park holds an open day at its nature reserve on Saturday June 20.
The Derbyshire County Council run park will host lots of activities, have-a-go sessions and walks throughout the day.
Learn how to make your very own bee box, get involved in a giant willow sculpture and learn some traditional bush craft techniques too.
Discover the skills needed to be a bodger, learn about pole lathing and see if you can spot the wild man of the woods too.
There is something on offer for everyone from family friendly nature rambles to chainsaw art and traditional old skills such as basket weaving and creating tasty treats direct from the garden.
There will be representatives from local groups such as the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust, South Derbyshire Badger group and others.
A family fun walk will be taking place in the nature reserve throughout the day where young and old can learn about the fascinating insects and animals that live in Derbyshire.
The event is on Saturday June 20 between 10.30am and 4.30pm and is free to attend. Car parking charges do apply.
