Services for schools and groups

Schools, colleges, universities and adult education groups often need to study the local area. Local Studies libraries can provide advice and study resources for both teachers and students. Local history societies and other clubs may also want to find out more about Local Studies.

A range of talks which can be given at venues outside the library, and resources available for historical and other events is in the process of being developed by the new joint Record Office and Local Studies facility. Details will be available shortly.
