Local studies at Wirksworth Library

Resources available at Wirksworth Library.

This library has a small collection of local history books relating to the town and the surrounding area.  

There is also a small reserve stock with some unusual items for loan.  

In addition to the books there is a growing collection of files on topics of local interest including Richard Arkwright and Cromford Mill.  

Back copies of the local news sheet “Community Fayre” are held dating from 1989 to the present day.
