Local studies at Killamarsh Library

Resources available at Killamarsh Library.

This small library has a range of local history books, mainly for loan, which concentrate on the Sheffield area at least as much as Derbyshire.

There are a few locally produced histories and a particular strength is the series of dialect writings and reminiscences of local resident Dave Froggatt.

On a more serious note the parish council minutes are available from 1974 to the present and a newscuttings file of local events has been maintained for almost 30 years.

There is a small collection of local maps and photographs and the census returns 1841 to 1901 are available as photocopies.
