Local studies at your library
All libraries have a range of books to borrow about the county and the local area. The libraries listed here all have something extra to offer for local and family historians.
The following libraries have substantial reference collections for their local area. They contain important local history resources, particularly historic newspapers that are not held at Chesterfield or County Hall
