Sound recordings

The following is a list of charges for sound recordings.

Loan of compact discs - 3 week loan 

  • Free

Overdue charges

  • Adults: 10p per day + 30p for each reminder. Maximum charge per item loan period £4.20
  • Children aged 12 up to 18th birthday: 5p per item per day + 30p for each reminder sent. Maximum charge per item for each loan period: £2.40   
  • Children under 12: No charge

Loan of audio books

  • Standard charge: 65p
  • Individuals and their dependants in receipt of Income Support. Individuals in receipt of Incapacity Benefit or Job Seekers Allowance. People aged 60+: 40p
  • Housebound people, visually impaired people, print-denied people, young people aged 0-18: Free

If the loan is not renewed before the due date, overdue charges will be applied.
