School Library Service montage

Providing quality learning and teaching resources, and supporting all curriculum areas, creative learning needs and early years.

Derbyshire and Derby School Library Service is a traded service delivered in partnership with Derby City Council. Subscription allows full access to our service:

  • loan collections
  • facilitated sessions
  • library advisory service

The service is available to:

  • All LEA, private and independent schools and academies
  • Nurseries and pre-schools
  • Childminders
  • Home educators and private tutors
  • Colleges of further education
  • Derby University BEd and PGCE students
  • Adult education classes
  • Children's centres and adult day centres
  • Writing, theatre and community groups
