Using computers is easy and free in all Derbyshire libraries.
There are over 400 computers in Derbyshire libraries, used by around 12,000 people every week.
Computers can be booked up to six days in advance, by phoning your local library.
You can also visit your library and use a computer straight away, if one is free.
Computers can be booked for up to one hour and are free to use.
On library computers you can:
- surf the web
- use email
- log on to learning with Learndirect
- create and store your own documents using Word and Excel
- develop presentations and publications with Powerpoint and Publisher.
Please note Delta Terminals may not be used to watch live television broadcasts.
You can also access a huge range of information, not available elsewhere, including:
- Encyclopaedias
- music and the arts
- newspapers
- famous people in history.
