Plant a commemorative tree

To celebrate something special, such as an individual or corporate achievement, anniversary or the life of a loved one, contact Green Health Enterprise.

We will arrange the planting of a native tree/s and much more besides at Horsepool Hill in Shipley Country Park.
Horsepool Hill Community Woodland

This hilltop setting was chosen for the new woodland because it offers unparalleled views across the Derbyshire countryside. Over the next few years your tree/s will grow to become a lasting extension to the mature deciduous woodland.

As well as a tree/s you could also choose to have:

  • Native wild flowers planted in the woodland
  • bird, bat and bug boxes - installed to promote local wildlife.

All purchases are accompanied with a certificate, location map, an eNewsletter and an entry in our Book of Dedications.

To make the occasion really special, you are welcome to visit our refurbished Tea Rooms nearby in ‘Derby Lodge’ (bookings by arrangement only).

Horsepool Hill Community Woodland is managed by Green Health Enterprise, an award winning project which trains and supports people back into work. We are a not for profit organisation, committed to promoting wildlife, woodland growth and adding to the enjoyment of country park visitors.
