Manners Plantations
Woodland plantations and surfaced paths around the Manners Industrial Estate at Ilkeston.Landscaped plantations of deciduous woodland around the industrial estates to provide visual screening and wildlife value.
They were created during the reclamation of disused railway lines and the former Manners colliery in the 1980's. A network of surfaced paths link the area to neighbouring residential areas and the Nutbrook Trail.
An area of wet grassland to the north-east of Manners Avenue has been designated a Local Wildlife Site.
