We manage a number of woodlands and plantations throughout Derbyshire.

We encourage the creation of new woodlands and are committed to improving the existing woodlands to maintain and enhance the character of the landscape and provide habitats for wildlife.

To helps us to achieve this, we work with a wide range of volunteer groups and other partners.

Our management of woodlands and plantations always takes into consideration the sensitive needs of wildlife.

Each year we organise a 'Free Tree Scheme', providing schools and local groups with the opportunity to claim trees free of charge to plant in their grounds or similar. You can download an application form from the related documents and send it to:
