It houses the restored steam engine house built in 1829 by the Butterley Company to haul wagons up the Middleton incline. It is usually open to the public most weekends from March to October, but unfortunately Middleton Top Engine House is currently closed to the public.
Opening times are 10.30am to 5pm. |
