Things to do at Shipley Country Park
Whatever the season there is always something to do in the park.
Walking, including dog-walking and health walking.
Geocaching - we're a popular location for geocaching but if you'd like to place a geocache in the park please contact us for a request form or download one from the related documents section of this web page.
Trim track - a one kilometre (approx) circuit with exercise stations along the route starting near the visitor centre.
Jogging
Cycling
Bird watching (there is a bird observation point at Mapperley Reservoir).
Photography - wildlife and landscape
Picnics
Kite Flying - please use the events field for this.
There are two play areas next to the visitor centre - a toddlers play area, and an adventure playground for older children. Children should always be supervised when using the play areas.
Discovery Trails and a number of booklets and leaflets are available in the visitor centre for a small charge.
When using the park please be aware of, and considerate to, other park users.
