Green Room hire

Visitor Centre Courtyard

The Green Room at Shipley Country Park is available for hire as use as a classroom, meeting room, venue for a children's party and similar.

The Green Room is available for hire all year round. Normal hire times are 9.30am to 4.30pm, but arrangements can be made for evening hire. The Green room is a modest size, seating a maximum of 48 people.

Green Room hire charges

Group A:

Countryside Service promoted events/volunteer groups directly associated with the park/Derbyshire LEA schools, adult education, teachers and other educational use and Derbyshire County Council meetings and training.
 
Daytime (9am to 5pm) - Free
Evening (5pm to 12am) - £25 per hour

Group B:

Other volunteer and community group meetings/non-Derbyshire LEA schools.

Daytime (9am to 5pm) - £10 for up to two hours
Evening (5pm to 12am) - £10 plus £25 per hour

Group C:

Performance exhibitions/social events etc open to the public by tickets, programme or selling events.

Daytime (9am to 5pm) - £20 for up to two hours
Evening (5pm to 12am) - £20 plus £25 per hour

Group D:

Business/commercial use for functions, private social events, promotional work etc not open to the public.

Daytime (9am to 5pm) - £60
Evening (5pm to 12am) - £60 plus £25 per hour
