Organising your own event
Shipley Country Park is an excellent venue for a wide range of events and activities - small or large. For example, groups have used the park and its facilities for sponsored walks, running events, shows, fun days, orienteering, wayfaring, treasure hunts and much more. To discuss your requirements and/or to make a booking please contact the visitor centre on 01773 719961.
Schools and other educational/children's groups - Schools and other groups use the park for educational visits such as pond dipping, mini-beast safari's and tree trails. Please click for further information about charges/facilities for school and other educational groups.
Hiring theGreenRoom- The Green Room is available for hire for use as a classroom, meeting room, children's party venue or similar.
Hiring the Events Field - Generally there is no charge for use of the park for events such as sponsored walks, fun runs etc. However, if you wish to book all, or part of, the events field for your own use a charge may apply.
Hire a Ranger - Rangers can be booked to lead an activity.
