Elvaston repairs and future options

We've commissioned two reports about Elvaston Castle and Country Park - one to look at what essential repairs the castle needs and another to look at the future options.

Repairs report

The 400-page report provides a detailed breakdown of all £6.42 million essential repairs to restore the castle, its buildings and structures.

The executive summary is available to download from the related documents section of this web page. We cannot attach the full document due to its size.

Copies of the 400-page report are available to view by appointment at Elvaston Castle and Country Park and County Hall in Matlock. To make an appointment call Elvaston Castle on 01332 571342 or Angela West at County Hall on 01629 538478.

Copies of the full report are available to view electronically at Borrowash Library by appointment. Please call the library on 01332 663440 to arrange to view the report. The library is closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. People wanting to print off pages from the report at the library will be charged at 25p per page.
