Woodlands and grasslands

We manage and maintain a variety of woodlands and grasslands across Derbyshire.

We are responsible for 1,000 hectares of woodland, ranging from ancient woodlands to new plantations, many of which are open to the public.

The East Derbyshire Woodlands Project, is a project we run that creates new woodlands and brings neglected woodlands into management for people, wildlife and timber across the east side of the county.
