Castell y Gwynt (home of Urizen) by James Brady

James Brady is a landscape artist who is inspired by the mountain wilderness of Britain and the work of British painters such as J.M.W. Turner and Richard Wilson.

By using the new media of digital video he seeks to re-work the canonical imagery commonly associated with the tradition of Romantic landscape painting of the 18th and 19th centuries.

Made over a three-year period in the Peak District, Snowdonia and the Lake District, his video works exist as a lasting trace of changing landscapes.
