Buxton Museum and Art Gallery is now closed for redevelopment.
During this time we'll be building the new galleries and improving access around the museum. We're hoping to reopen on Tuesday 6 June 2017 - watch this space!
Keep up with progress by following us on Facebook (opens in a new window), Twitter (opens in a new window) and through our two blogs Buxton Museum and Art Gallery (opens in a new window) and Collections in the landscape (opens in a new window).
Museum staff will be available by letter, email and telephone to answer enquiries. We'll also be out and about so look out for the Pop Up Museum at venues near you.
Our thanks to all our supporters who are making this happen: Heritage Lottery Fund, The Wolfson Foundation, Arts Council England and Museum Development East Midlands.
