Live and Local shows are run by a network of volunteers across Derbyshire who choose and promote professional arts performances in village halls and community venues.  

Shows include:

• drama
• comedy
• classical music
• dance
• puppetry
• storytelling
• opera
• cabaret
• folk music
• circus
• jazz
• world music.

At the centre of this network, connecting local volunteers with some of the UK's best professional performers, is the "Live and Local" agency, a not-for-profit organisation.
