School governors

We need effective governing boards to ensure the success of our schools.

Governing boards make the key strategic decisions for our schools and ensure that all statutory duties are met. The success of our boards is dependent on the quality of the governors and how effectively they work.

Governing boards are made up of several categories of school governors who are elected or appointed in different ways. These include co-opted governors.

Should you wish to be a co-opted governor or express an interest in becoming a co-opted governor you could either contact a school direct or alternatively fill in the form on the following link.

Expression of interest to be a co-opted School Governor.

We will collect your data and share it with any schools that contact us for interested applicants and schools will follow up directly with the applicant.
