Welcome to the Derbyshire County Council website.

Here (on the website) you will find information about what your council does and information about services we can provide. If you want to look at support we can give to deaf people go to the sensory impairment pages

The information on our webpages is written in English, but Derbyshire County Council recognises that British Sign Language (BSL) is a language and, as we do for all people who do not use English, we will provide an interpretor.

So if you want more details of any of our information or you have any questions about our services, we will arrange for you to visit us at a local office and we will provide an interpreter.
